My impression of Koh Samui was a few years ago when a friend took her family to plant grass after returning from the Spring Festival. She couldn’t remember clearly what she said. The only thing she remembered was that the seafood in Koh Samui was good, but the disadvantages were: The price is not cheap.
Koh Samui is about 560 kilometers south of Bangkok. It is a small area with a population of 50,000. This beautiful beach became known to the world 20 years ago because a few Western tourists took a boat from Thailand to transport coconuts.
The best beach in Koh Samui is Chaweng Beach, but the quality of the sand pales in comparison to our Sanya. The quality of the sand was disgusted by my little prince. He only went there once and never mentioned it again. I wanted to go in the past, of course because he preferred to have fun in the swimming pool~~~.

Traveling to Koh Samui is quite embarrassing. There are no direct flights even to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. For example, if you want to go from Beijing to Koh Samui, you have to choose to transfer to Singapore or Bangkok, but no matter what, on the way 10 hours of time must be well spent. Considering that the straight-line distance between Samui and Beijing is only 3,749 kilometers, it takes so much time, which is enough to deter many people from choosing another place.
This time the editor met a group of tourists from Chengdu and Chongqing at the hotel. After asking, I found out that they were flying direct. What? Later I learned that there are direct flights to Chengdu and Chongqing, but the cabins are not sold separately. They are all chartered by travel agencies. However, Fortunately, you can choose the "air ticket + hotel" format, and you can also specify the hotel yourself.
If I go there again next time, I will probably fly directly from Chengdu or Chongqing and go to Chengdu to eat my favorite rabbit head~~~

Itinerary: Go to sea at 9:00 and arrive near Nanyuan Island at 10:30. There are two snorkeling places near Nanyuan Island. The first place has many fish. Stay for an hour.

The sea water is crystal clear. Whether you lower your head and dance with the fish, or embrace the sea and sunbathe, no matter what the situation, when you are integrated with nature, the relaxation and pleasure will achieve the best purpose of travel. .
The third snorkeling place: Koh Tao.
After staying for about an hour and a half, you can choose to continue snorkeling, or you can choose to climb to the top of the mountain to experience the feeling of "seeing all the small mountains at a glance" written by Li Bai.
Koh Tao is a famous business card of Koh Samui, and it is indeed worthy of its name.
Friendly reminder: This island is a private island. You need to buy tickets to get to the island. Snacks and water are not allowed to be brought ashore.

There is still a gap between the sunset viewing environment in Koh Samui and Bali, because the beaches in Bali are better, but here you can lie on the beach sofa and watch the sunset in the SPA, which is another experience, and it is not bad.
In fact, there is also a large Buddhist temple in Koh Samui, as well as animal performances. I have no choice. The temple is too far away from Bangkok. The animal show is just for tourists. There is only one show a day. There is no zoo in Koh Samui. The performance is to circle a specific place and let the elephants and monkeys come out to show off.
The W Hotel in Koh Samui is a place where countless popular stars go to Samui. The unique design attracts countless designers. However, the hotel rules do not allow hotel guests to enter and visit. 1. Koh Samui is rich in coconuts. The price of coconuts on the island is like a doll's face. It changes at any time. The cheapest one I've ever had is 30 baht in a tourist attraction, and I've also had one for 150 baht (at the airport store). It is possible that two stores are 100 meters apart and sell 40 baht here and 70 baht there. But no matter how you sell it, it’s cheaper than in China!
2. Seafood: crabs, lobsters
The busiest place in Koh Samui is Chaweng Night Market, but it feels similar to the night market in my small town. There are Western, Chinese and Thai food. We go to Big Crab House every day. The first one is his seafood. It’s fresh, and secondly, I agreed to get a 10% discount on the second time I go there. It’s delicious and cheap, so why bother choosing another place?

This time I went to Koh Samui and took a lot of detours, but finally I chose to book a "flight + wine" package from a friend. If we are traveling with a couple, the family room she chose is particularly suitable. One big bed and one bunk bed.

Of course, I didn’t write down the itinerary for going to sea or chartering a boat to go fishing. It was completely customized and I didn’t go there, so I didn’t mention it. I’ll wait until I have the chance next time!
Personal experience: After all, Koh Samui was developed later. Compared with Phuket, Bali, the infrastructure is much less developed, and the beaches are also much worse. However, the pleasure of traveling depends on the people you travel with. With the right people, you can go wherever you go. Has the most beautiful scenery.
