The accommodation conditions here are relatively simple, and the water source on the island is There is a well outside the village and a small reservoir at the foot of the mountain that has almost dried up. Some rooms have water faucets but cannot discharge tap water. To use sanitary water for bathing and washing your face, you have to rely on the store to fetch water from the well outside the village in advance. Come here and prepare it for use in a large tank. It can be seen that the fresh water resources on the island are quite precious. There is no and no need for public transportation on the island, and external transportation is relatively limited.

 

There are currently only a dozen households and a few fishermen on the island. Since the 2017 CCTV Spring Festival Gala public welfare film showed the original scenery of Taishan Island for just a few seconds and became popular on the Internet, except for weekends and holidays with fine weather, there are very few people on ordinary days. There are guests. Dinner is mainly shellfish and small seafood. Vegetables here are more expensive than seafood, and meat needs to be purchased from mainland China in advance and frozen. According to the store owner, a bottle of gas costs more than 160 yuan. If the weather is bad or there are no shipping schedules, residents here will have to live frugally.

 

After dinner, we bought some firewood from the store. Konggu Youlan and Happy went to the beach to find an empty space and lit a bonfire. Brother Feng and I took the rest of the people there. About ten minutes away, we came to a row of stone houses. Everyone gathered around the bonfire, held hands, danced, had fun, sang and chatted, and released sky lanterns. Several male compatriots also found dead branches from nearby, added firewood to the fire, and had fun... counting the sky. On the way home under the stars, I fall into a dream tonight with the sound of waves on my pillow. Unfortunately, we did not encounter the blue-eyed sea this night.

 

On the morning of the 2nd, the weather was cloudy. The friends who got up early went to Umbrella Reef to watch the sunrise. After returning, they had breakfast. The itinerary was scheduled for the afternoon boat trip back to the mainland. There was a whole morning on the island for free activities, so we divided into two groups, most of them. People go to the beach of the island to collect snails and dig bergamot clams. Liu and about a dozen of my friends walked across the Umbrella Reef to the sky. The beautiful girls faced the sea, taking pictures of their handsome figures and blending them into beautiful photos. We climbed up the mountain along the deserted trenches for several miles. We were reminded by the sentry standing guard below, and we realized that we had mistakenly entered the restricted area. Seeing that it was already getting late, we returned from the foot of the lighthouse.

 

The team gathered in an open two-story courtyard. I returned to the small courtyard and sorted out my belongings. It was already past 11 o'clock, spring flowers were blooming, and my friends who were collecting conch shells on the beach also returned, and we went to the dining tent to have lunch together. At 1 o'clock in the afternoon, the whistle sounded. We gathered on the small pier. The leader counted the number of people and boarded the ship. Because this was the last ship of the day, no team member must be left behind. Later I learned that sailings were suspended early on the afternoon of the 3rd due to wind and rain, ending the May Day holiday in Taishan Island early. We arrived at Shacheng Pier at around 3 pm. Our friends took the time to purchase some dried seafood at the seafood market next to the pier, which is probably cheaper than in mainland cities .
