Xingtai Grand Canyon Travel Notes

In the Grand Canyon deep in Taihang in the west, I stood at the foot of the mountain three times but had no chance to climb to the top. The more this happens, the more mysterious it becomes in my heart.

One weekend, when the weather was nice and I had nothing to do, I took my girl to visit the Xingtai Grand Canyon with a group of tourists. Departing at 7am! The Grand Canyon that I have been thinking about for a long time has finally come true, and my mood is self-evident.

The Grand Canyon is located in the west of Xingtai, an hour and a half drive away. Let me show you the picture above. This is the entrance to the Grand Canyon. 45 seconds of gaze and preconceived impressions will give me a bias in thinking, and the impact of this bias cannot be eliminated.

Whether it is for people or things, first impression is very important. The entrance is very clean and spacious, with two peaks facing each other and a viaduct spanning the top of the peaks. It is unique and rare. Well, my first impression was pretty good, passable.

After entering the door, a huge stone is eye-catching and majestic.

Then walking inside, there is a very smooth road leading into the mountains. It is said that it was re-paved after the floods last year. The road was not so easy to walk before.

There are towering cliffs on both sides. The peaks are stacked on top of each other, and the heights are staggered. I was so interested that I shouted loudly, and my voice bounced back when it hit the cliff, echoing for a long time.

The stream in the mountain stream is gurgling, the water is very shallow and clear, and there are many tadpoles swimming in the water like small balls. The girl got excited, rolled up her sleeves and started playing, and asked me if I could catch a few?

We just came in, and there are no empty bottles yet. If we grab them, there is no place to put them. How about we wait until we climb down and finish drinking the water and keep the empty bottles before grabbing them? She was a little reluctant, but she continued to move forward with me. These are children. Water, sand, and pebbles are always their favorites.

I walked and played with the girl, naturally much slower, and I broke away from the big group in a short time. I have climbed many mountains with different people, and I found that many people are like this. When they go out to climb mountains, their goal is the top of the mountain. They just try to go fast all the way, as if they are completing a task, ignoring other scenery.

This is good, the girl and I feel more at ease. We can play in the water for a while, pick a few flowers, take selfies when we see the beautiful scenery, and sit down to rest for a while when we are tired from walking. Others come here to climb the mountain, but we are more like visiting the park.

This is Condor Rock. From where I look, this mountain is very high and far away. The appearance of the condor is very clear. It is staring into the distance, as if it is about to spread its wings and fly.

It is so high up, with a clear view of everything. The eagle is the overlord of the sky. I like the bravery, sharpness, strength and indescribable power of the eagle flying in the wind and clouds.

Every time she climbs a mountain, the girl is not afraid of rugged mountain roads or steep peaks, but is afraid of stairs like this. To be honest, I don’t like it either, it’s like climbing stairs, because there is nothing new and it can easily make people feel tired.

So my girl and I found a way to spread out, rock, paper, scissors, whoever wins climbed up five steps, more than 300 steps, we played the game and passed the level easily without feeling tired. Special reminder: Children are very interested in playing. As a parent, you should always tell your children to pay attention to their steps and worry about safety issues.

After climbing a third of the way, there was a stall selling cold drinks. I bought the girl an ice cream and sat down to rest for a while. The little girl wanted my glasses and said: Mom, I saw that the portraits produced by the glasses are very beautiful. If you don’t believe me, I will take you to see what you think. I put the glasses on her, but before she had a chance to look at them, she said proudly: It was so easy to trick her into getting glasses.

Really, if you want glasses, just tell me and play such a trick with me. The moment I took off my glasses, the sunlight was a bit dazzling. I looked at the deep valley in front of me. The mountains were undulating, and the green trees were densely covering the mountains. It was more like a green ocean, or a primeval forest.

If it is in the city, the temperature will be so hot that it makes people restless, but it is different in the mountains. Sitting among the mountains and fields, the wind is cool and refreshing. The wild valley, the mountains, and the lush greenery make people's eyes suddenly bright and clear.

Bright sunshine, green shade, happy mood, it feels wonderful! Friends often ask: Why do you like climbing mountains so much? I asked back: Do you need a reason to love something? If you have to give me reasons, there are too many, so you have to be patient and listen.

I like the heaviness of the mountains. I like the feeling of standing on the top of the mountain. The mountains are so high that I am soaring into the sky for the peaks. I like the mystery of the mountains. I like the renewal of spring, the greenness of summer, the cascading layers of autumn, and the beauty of winter in the mountains and fields. peaceful,

I remember my father often said to me: You! In your previous life, you were just a pebble in the mountain. It was washed into the cracks of the mountain by water and could not move. I saved you, so! You were reincarnated to repay the favor. At that time I thought I really believed it. I still often think that maybe it is!

Look at this, on the side wall of a mountain peak, it looks like the head of an ancient ape man. It stares affectionately into the distance. I asked the locals, but no one knew its story and legend.

I guess it must be watching someone leave? Or are you watching for someone to return?

We arrived at Yixiantian, also known as Changzui Gorge. The terrain here is very dangerous. A narrow cliff path is passable, with high peaks on both sides. Water is rarely seen along the way. If a mountain is not moistened by water, it will lose its sense of life, which makes people feel regretful.

When we got here, we finally saw the gravel at the bottom of the valley and the long stream. The terrain here is so strange that there is no sunlight, and it is unusually cool. The wind blowing in from the mountain pass is actually a bit chilly.

37 degrees is the principle of life that I have always adhered to. I like 37 degrees, not too cold, not too warm. As calm as tea, as peaceful as heart.

I feel at ease in a small environment, looking up at the distant sky at 37 degrees, watching the clouds blown by the summer wind, floating leisurely, so light and pure.

Looking up at the towering peak at 37 degrees, you can see the scattered mountains, the coolness in your ears, so soft. With the mood of 37 degrees, forget all worries and just wait quietly, waiting for yourself at 37 degrees.

When we reached Xiantiantian, it was still an hour and a half away, so many people chose to go down the mountain. The girl said she was tired and didn't want to climb up anymore. Oops! When you climb a mountain, you will always feel regretful if you don't reach the top. Considering the girl's physical ability, she had no choice but to return.

Still walking and playing all the way, when we got to the cable car, the girl wanted to take the cable car down. Climbing a mountain is about using your feet to experience the conquering feeling of going up and down the mountain, and to experience the fun from it. Is there any point in taking a cable car?

This time the girl couldn't resist me, so she bought an ice cream to coax her, and she happily walked down the mountain with me.

When we came to the lower river at the foot of the mountain, we left an empty bottle, and the girl had a great time catching tadpoles! There were a lot of things in the bag, and I ate them all while playing and eating along the way. The girl was still hungry, so she bought some pancakes and fruit. The driver was not around, so she sat down and ate with gusto.

A happy end to a day's excursion, man! After staying in the reinforced concrete urban forest for a long time, I really need to go to the mountains and have some fun and relax myself.

It feels good both physically and mentally. The Grand Canyon, the Grand Canyon I have been thinking about for a long time, the Grand Canyon I missed three times, the scenery is beautiful, I like it very much. The only regret is that there is too little water in the mountains.
