Yesterday we took our two little ones to the Shanghai Railway Museum, which my brother has always loved!
Although the Shanghai Railway Museum is not big, for train fans, it is really something that cannot be missed!
The Shanghai Railway Museum is located at the intersection of Tianmu East Road and Kangle Road in Jing'an District. Its exhibition hall building and outdoor appearance are based on the original Shanghai-Nanjing Railway Shanghai Station (Old North Station) built in 1909 with British classical architectural style. Built on its original site.

Upon entering the gate, the outdoor square exhibition area creates a scene of an early railway station. What catches the eye is the black steam locomotive and the wooden platform, giving the whole place a sense of retro vicissitudes.

Part One: Railway Construction. It mainly shows the construction and development of infrastructure within the Shanghai Railway Bureau, including lines, bridges, etc., in the three periods from the late Qing Dynasty, the Republic of China, and the founding of the People's Republic of China.

Part Two: Rail Transport. It mainly displays the equipment development status of major business departments other than lines, bridges, etc. and related railway expertise, allowing us to learn more about the mystery of the linkage of railways and trains.

Part Three: Railway World. It mainly shows the history of the organization, what happened to some celebrities on the Shanghai Railway, some honorary certificates, etc.
