– DAY ONE –

 

When the first cold wave arrives after New Year’s Day
From Shenzhen to Changsha
Also wet and cold
It's almost ten degrees cooler than Shenzhen here.
So cool

 

 

We chose Wuyi Square as our accommodation, which is so convenient to get anywhere.

Because it's too cold

So I decided to eat spicy food for the first meal to warm up my body.

I chose the Cuiyan Stir-fried Yellow Beef Wanda Plaza store which is relatively less crowded.

And there is a Chayanyuese restaurant next door with not many people.

Decided to go mountain climbing
This time I came to Changsha just to run
Comes from Yuelu Mountain’s retro cableway and alpine slide
(I heard that this ropeway will soon be renovated and replaced with a box-type one.
It still feels like this open-air style has a more contemporary feel)
 
I thought there would be fewer people on Friday and there would be no need to queue up.
But I didn’t expect that I wouldn’t be able to play during the cableway maintenance that day.
Then there was a long queue at the sightseeing bus.

 

It is still not recommended to come to Yuelu Mountain in the afternoon.
Because there are too many people
Will affect the gaming experience

From the Qingwan Town subway station at the foot of Yuelu Mountain
Take Metro Line 2
Just one stop away from Juzizhoutou
Very convenient
After getting out of the subway station, buy sightseeing tickets on the mini program

When leaving Juzizhoutou
Just happened to catch the sunset on the Xiangjiang River

After having breakfast downstairs, we headed straight to Yuelu Mountain again
As expected, there was no one at Yuelu Mountain in the morning.
There is basically no need to queue for the ropeway
Climbed the mountain twice in a row
Played the slide twice
Enough of the addiction
(It is recommended to take a battery car to go up the mountain for the second time, which will be more convenient. You can reach the mountain in a few minutes)

At the foot of Yuelu Mountain is the famous Hunan University Snack Street
You can choose to go down the mountain via the original route from Dongmen.
Then take a bus for a few stops to Yuelu Mountain South
You can also choose to go directly from Yuelu Mountain to the South Gate and go down the mountain.
Then exit from Dongfanghong Square and walk to the right.
 
Personally feel
Although there are many snacks in May Day Square
But the snacks here at Hunan University are more palatable.
It is also more concentrated and convenient
 
when the weather is nice
The sun shines through the leaves on both sides of the road

In the afternoon, we will visit the east side of Changsha City.
The roads in Changsha city center are very wide

After a very fulfilling two-day trip,
Already a little tired on the third day
It’s also a day of return journey
So choose something close to where you live
Around Jiefangxi
Scan the streets to record some local humanistic stories
Many of the old houses in Wenyun Street have been demolished
This smoky scene will disappear soon
Next time I come here, it may turn into a cold high-rise building.
