There is a road blessed by a divine dragon in Shanhaiguan, where there is a night market that has existed for more than 20 years and endless delicious food! That is the "Dalongdao Night Market" by the ancient city of Shanhaiguan. You can buy everything here to eat, use, wear, play, and enjoy! Of course, as a half-hearted foodie, the most important thing to share with you is of course the “night market delicacies” !

Located on Dalong Road in Shanhaiguan (opposite the famous city wall)

How to get there?

There are four routes for driving:

1. Come from Guancheng South Road to the west (in the direction of Nanyuan and downtown), drive to Dalong Road and turn right to enter. There may be a lot of people. Don't give way to cars, drive slowly , you can turn left or right when you encounter a small intersection, and you can park on the roadside.

2. Come from Guancheng South Road to the west of (in the direction of Nanyuan and downtown), drive to the intersection of Dongfang Hotel , turn right, then find a place to park, and go east Just stroll over.

3. Come from east of Guancheng South Road (404, Liaoning direction), drive to Laolongtou Road and turn left at the T-shaped intersection, then find a place to park and walk west Just go over there.

4. Come from the south of Lao Longtou Road (in the direction of Haihai Road and Lao Longtou), turn right at the first intersection after exiting the tunnel bridge, and then turn right 360 degrees to enter the auxiliary road on the tunnel bridge. Drive to the T-shaped intersection of Zhanxi Street and turn right. Turn right at the second intersection and you will arrive at the entrance of Xinghua Primary School and Kindergarten . Just park here.

Same as above for bicycles, electric vehicles, and walking, except that in some cases, you don't need to turn around, just cross the road and pass the guardrail.

As for buses, take No. 25, No. 33, No. 301, and No. 13 and get off at Xinghua Market Station and go west. You can also get off at the National Taxation Bureau Station for Route 301 and Route 33. But it was too late after the night market ended, and there was no bus to go back.

As for the Dalong Road Night Market, generally speaking, the west side is full of delicacies, and the east side is full of groceries and department stores, etc. .

Shanhaiguan sorbet vs Harbin sorbet

The Harbin Old Ice Cream stall is located in the northernmost part of the night market , at the end of the road. There are sizes of 5 yuan and 3 yuan . The taste is similar to milk-flavored ice cream, just like the creamy ice cream squeezed out of the cone machine in the mall in the past, but the shape is different. This one is scooped with a spoon. It has a strong milky taste and a delicate texture. For the word "sorbet", it is closer to "cake".

As for Shanhaiguan ice cream, you can basically find it at small stalls where you can drink cold drinks, 2 yuan, 5 yuan, or 10 yuan. Everyone says that whose ice cream is delicious, but it is said that Shanhaiguan ice cream has been monopolized by one family. They are all produced by one family and delivered everywhere. The Shanhaiguan ice cream now is not as delicious as it was when I was a child. Now I feel that the ice grains are very rough and scattered, and it is not sweet enough. The taste of Shanhaiguan Ice Cream is similar to that of Great Wall Soda. For the word "sorbet", it is more like "ice". It is right to eat it to relieve summer heat and thirst.

Another amazing thing is: Shanhaiguan sorbet is really made with real egg whites and sugar! The rumored efficacy in curing diarrhea is true!

Smell bad and eat delicious

Their stinky tofu is deep-fried and smeared with sauce. It smells really stinky and tastes delicious. It’s dark and crispy in color. Paired with coriander, it’s simply delicious!

This Shandong pancake restaurant was recommended to me by a veteran foodie mom. I was really reluctant to try it at first because in my impression, Shandong pancakes were too hard to bite and had no taste. Plus, Xiao Meng doesn’t eat onions. !

Classic old store still popular

The location is at the southernmost end of Dalong Road Night Market , in the front room downstairs of the community. Did you notice that the second Q in the picture was drawn by myself... If you look for it, you may only find the store "Q Chicken Rack", hahaha!
