Introduction to Xiasi: Xiasi is located in the northeast of Majiang County. It is named Xiasi because it is located downstream of Pingding. In the 13th year of Jiaqing (AD 1808), Majiang Xiasi was opened as a commercial port. By the time of the Republic of China, it developed into a busy city with water and land docks. It was an important material distribution center in southeastern Guizhou.
