Introduction to prehistoric Hemudu: Hemudu culture is an ancient and colorful Neolithic Age culture in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River Basin in China. In 1973, it was first discovered in Hemudu, Yuyao, Zhejiang, hence its name. It is mainly distributed in the Ningshao Plain and Zhoushan Island on the south coast of Hangzhou Bay.
