Dolphin deer introduction: National first-level protected animal. The dolphin deer in Yunnan is "only found in the Sifangjing area of Gengma County, Lincang City" (Peng Hongshou, 1962). In recent inspections, although no physical specimens were seen, skins and antlers have been collected, proving that there are still a small number of dolphin deer in existence and are in urgent need of effective protection.
