Kilauea Lighthouse Introduction: Kilauea Lighthouse is located at the northernmost tip of Kauai. It was built in 1913 and is 52 feet (15 meters) high. It is a lighthouse that guides ships. It's the perfect place to photograph the rugged northern coastline and the deep blue Pacific Ocean, and is home to the Kilauea Wildlife Sanctuary, which protects Hawaii's seabirds.
