Introduction to Gonghai Gate: Gonghai Gate is the west gate of the ancient city of Dangar. It is said that the Qing government sends imperial envoys every year to summon Mongolian and Tibetan tribes to Qinghai Lake to worship the sea. The meeting will be held outside the west gate when passing here. It is a simple ceremony to worship the sea, hence the name "Gonghaimen".
