Introduction to Taoist Valley: As early as the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, this was an ideal place for Taoists to live in seclusion and cultivate their nature. Qiu Chuji, a famous Taoist priest in the late Song Dynasty and early Yuan Dynasty and one of the Seven True Masters of Quanzhen Sect, once practiced here and left an inscription on the cliff of Xishan Mountain, so the valley is called Taoist Valley.
