Introduction to Shuanglin Grottoes: Shuanglin Grottoes - the largest reclining Buddha in Asia, was built in 2003. A reclining Buddha (the auspicious reclining Buddha of Buddha's nirvana) was carved out of the original rock mass in Yishi Grotto. The Great Reclining Buddha in the Grottoes is located in the Aoshan Grottoes of the Small Temple of the Great Buddha Temple. The hall in the cave is 23 meters long from north to south and 48 meters long horizontally.
