Introduction to Nokdong Academy: Nokdong Academy is an academy dedicated to Mr. Kim Chung-seon (1571-1642), a Japanese general who surrendered to Korea during the Imjin Japanese Rebellion (1592-1598). There are ancestral halls, Korean Japanese Cultural Exchange Center, monuments, mausoleums, etc. In the surrounding area are Hansen Academy and Minami Jizoji Temple, as well as the Seishen Valley that flows through the village.
