Shanxi Xiaohe National Wetland Park is a typical secondary wetland on the Loess Plateau. It is one of the few theme wetland parks in China that integrates regional water conservancy, urban wetlands, ecological culture, and folk attractions. The construction of the park highlights the themes of nature, ecology, wildness, simplicity, and environmental protection. The design concept is advanced, integrating the essence of the art of north-south garden construction, and the functional layout is reasonable.

Xiaohe National Wetland Park has beautiful scenery and rich cultural colors. There are eight-hole bridge, wetland, Jiuqu Zhanqiao, Swan Lake, Yudai Lake, Yuanyang Pond, Yuelao Pond, Bird Watching Pavilion, Dieshui Rock, Zhuangyuan Pond, Inkstone washing pool, Weigong pool, picking garden, Xiaoxiang Lake, water onion pool, cattail pool, cruise ship terminal, Ci'ai Lake, rubber dam, filial piety pool, frog singing pool, ancient wooden plank road, Xinfeng platform and other landscapes.

How to get there:

Driving route: Enter Binhe South Middle Road, cross Yongning Bridge and go straight onto Binhe North East Road, turn right onto G307, go straight onto Binhe South East Road, go straight onto Fenliu Expressway, and head towards Xiaoyi/Pingyao/Xingtai /S66 direction, go straight to Hefen Expressway, exit from Xiaoyi/Fenyang South Exit, turn slightly right to enter Fenxiao Interchange, go straight to Yongan Road, then go straight to Fenjie Line.
