Ziyun Mountain in Xiangcheng County is a famous cultural mountain that is famous for its "strange, beautiful, quiet and ancient" and integrates cultural and natural landscapes. It has thousands of acres of oak forest on the mountain and is known as "the first oak forest in the north of the Yangtze River". Ziyun Mountain is located in Ziyun Town, Xiangcheng County, Henan Province. It belongs to the eastern foothills of the Funiu Mountains. It consists of nine mountains and eighteen peaks, five lakes and one river, with a total area of ​​about 50 square kilometers. Li Min, the Minister of Household Affairs in the Ming Dynasty, built Ziyun Mountain here. Yun Academy promoted Confucian culture and became the center of Chinese philosophy at that time, thus making Ziyun Mountain famous all over the world.

Ziyun Mountain Scenic Area consists of nine mountains and eighteen peaks, five lakes and one river, and many cultural relics and historic sites. From south to north, there are Shuyuan Mountain, Mapeng Mountain, Guozi Mountain, Hutouzui Mountain, Huangtupo Village, Zhengjiazhai, and Doujiao Village. There are nine peaks including Yunyangzhai, Banjieta Mountain, etc. The overall mountain is gentle and densely vegetated. It is covered by two layers of plants. The upper layer has 6.7 square kilometers of oak forest, 6 square kilometers of chestnut forest, and 5.6 square kilometers of black locust forest. The lower layer is filled with vitex peony, wild chrysanthemums and other weeds. Blue waves are rippling in spring and summer, and when there is frost in autumn, the oak leaves turn red and the forests are dyed. There is a saying: "The oak leaves are as red as the flowers in February. You don't need to go to Xiangshan to enjoy autumn." The mountain is dotted with Ziyun Academy, Mingjing Lake, Wolong Lake, Tianchi, Dakui Cave Sky, Red Stone Forest, Nanping Grassland and other landscapes.
