Maotai Town is located in Maotai Town, Renhuai City, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province. It is on the bank of the Chishui River. It is said that it was once the chokepoint for land and water transportation between Sichuan and Guizhou. It is bordered by Zunyi to the north and Sichuan to the south.
