The Anhui Yangzi Alligator National Nature Reserve is China’s largest conservation base for the Yangzi alligator, dedicated to protecting the species and its natural habitat. It functions simultaneously as a protected area, a research facility, and a scenic tourism destination, offering beautiful landscapes centered around the alligator as its flagship attraction. Attractions distribution:
The Alligator Reserve (China Crocodile Lake) is located in five districts and counties including Xuanzhou, Langxi, Guangde, Jingxian and Nanling of Wuhu City, covering an area of 5188 hectares. The reserve consists of Zhucun, Gaojingmiao, Yanglin, Hongxing, Xiadu, Shuangkeng, Zhongqiao and Changle.
