I forgot the name of the accommodation. I only know that after walking around Mount Kailash and having dinner, I drove to the next destination in a hurry, just to get closer to the Guge Dynasty.

In Ali, which has an average altitude of more than 5,000 meters, if you want to eat a poached egg, it will be soggy and have a strong eggy smell, and it costs 30 yuan.

The formation of the geological structure began 5 million years ago, when a large amount of sediment and other materials brought by the rivers around the Xiangquan River Basin between the Ayla Riju Mountains and the Himalayas were deposited at the bottom, forming a sedimentary stratum up to 800 meters thick. rise.

The mountains are rising at an accelerated pace, blocking the entry of water vapor, and the Great Lakes area has formed a rain shadow area that is dry, hot and rainless. The lake gradually dried up and the earth began to appear. This is the Zada ​​Basin.

We shuttled on the asphalt road between the Zada ​​basins, and the beauty of nature rushed towards us from time to time. They were swarming up in groups, standing straight upright, or rising step by step... …different shapes, generally beautiful.

We didn't stay or explore too much. We passed by, saw, and stayed in our hearts.

Maybe one day, I will come again, no longer blindly looking, but with my heart to feel the charm of nature's miraculous craftsmanship, and to understand the humanities, stories and history about Ali while walking.

Guge Dynasty

Ten to twenty thousand years ago, humans had already set foot on the land of Ali. They made stone tools and carved scenes of their daily lives on rocks.

In the 4th century BC, the ancestors established a powerful tribal alliance, whose sphere of influence covered most of today's Tibet, and was known as the "Shangshung Kingdom".

Unfortunately, the Shang Shung Kingdom lasted for about 1,000 years. In the 7th century AD, King Shang Hung's wife, Songtsen Gampo's sister, finally attracted the Tibetan army. The glory of the Shang Hung Kingdom came to an end, and it was called "the dynasty that disappeared overnight."

The ruins of the Guge Dynasty were once the center of the Guge Kingdom established by the descendants of the Tubo royal family. In the mid-17th century, it was destroyed by the Ladakh invaders and the ruins are now there.

When I stood on the ruins of the Guge Dynasty and looked at the magnificent buildings in front of me, I felt a little sour in my heart. I couldn't stand before the 17th century and feel the smell of human fireworks here. But standing here today, what I feel most deeply is the desolation.

There isn't much emotion, it's more about curiosity, a kind of boredom and boredom that you enter for the first time but don't want to explore.
