[Travel Notes] Hiking in "Donling Mountain" on the outskirts of Beijing is a great experience!

Because we are traveling as a group, we need to take a bus. We gathered at the "Haidian Wuluju" subway entrance at 8 o'clock in the morning, and soon all the people in their 30s arrived and set off. The bus is very clean. The driver is a master in his 50s. He seems to be very experienced. It feels reassuring and quite comfortable. The subsequent outbound and return journeys proved that this old master’s driving skills were indeed very good.

When participating in a group trip organized by an outdoor organization, many people on the trip may not know each other very well, including me. I participated alone and did not know anyone else, and it was my first time to participate in this kind of outdoor activity. To be honest, I was looking forward to this trip, but at the time I was unsure of what the outcome would be.

On our trip, there were two people, the leader and the organizer. After the car started, the team leader briefly introduced the precautions to everyone, and then started the first activity, introducing himself to break the ice. After the introduction, I got a general understanding of everyone. Except for one of the more than 30 people who was born in the 1970s, the others were born in the 80s and 90s. There were also many people who, like me, were participating in Tuchuan's activities for the first time.

Next, the most important thing begins, which is the climbing process. At the beginning, there was a path made of stones, just like most paths in scenic spots. Because it was May, there were green trees on both sides of the road and small streams, which was very comfortable.

The team leader was very loving, he was a young man born in the 1990s, and he even brought a watermelon to the group. Yes, it was a big watermelon. During the climb, I brought a watermelon to everyone. It was so cute. I ate two pieces at a rest point in the middle. It was delicious.

I don’t know if there are other outdoor team activities that bring watermelon to everyone during mountain climbing. Although the watermelon itself is not valuable, it reflects a bit of Tuchuan's friendship, and this friendship has always existed.

There is a platform about 40 minutes away from the top of the mountain, and many people are resting. Because there was not enough time to return in the afternoon, I did not continue to the top of the mountain.

There were about 10 teammates resting together here. Everyone brought food, and everyone shared the food with each other in a friendly manner. I ate the small tomatoes, self-service hot pot, sugar, cherries, and pumpkin pie brought by my teammates. I didn’t eat much of the bread I brought.

When we arrived at the rest area, we had been climbing for 3 hours, and all the friends I was traveling with also knew each other, so there was no barrier during the sharing of food. Everyone talked, laughed, and ate happily. Not too much to worry about.

Humans are such animals that need to communicate with each other, help each other, and then get along with each other, which will eventually lead to trust. This kind of trust does not take long. For example, it only took a few hours that day for trust to develop. It is a wonderful feeling. But it is difficult to achieve this kind of trust among colleagues in the company.

Among friends, because of the addition of mobile phones, there is less communication, and there are not many people who can truly communicate and trust. (Through this trip, I met a few friends and had a chat all over the world. This is my fourth gain) .

The whole process of going down the mountain took nearly 3 hours. Because I was not in a hurry, I took a few more breaks in the middle. The whole "Lingshan" journey was very happy and rewarding.

This is my first real journey as a traveler. Through Tuchuan, I hope I will go to more places in the future.
