Continued: Eastern Europe Series 6 – Go to the ancient salt city and encounter a passing love.
Austria is known as the "Heart of Europe" and Vienna is the "Heart of the Heart".
You can let people living in Vienna go without food for a few days, but you can never let them live without music for a day. For them, music is their soul and the entire world they live on.

Walking back from Hallstatt in a hurry, because we didn’t have enough time and needed to dress up to attend, we also learned from the local residents that they don’t want material food, but only spiritual food. Inconspicuous appearance~~
I chatted with friends before traveling, and they all agreed that the Golden Hall has been reserved by Chinese people. People wearing T-shirts and casual clothes and sneakers can be seen everywhere. It is just like our National Grand Theater! But now that we have arrived in Vienna, everyone must have the same idea as the editor: "You have to go no matter what, otherwise you can't say you have been to Vienna."
In fact, when we actually arrived at the Golden Hall, the rumors were not true. There were not many friends, most of them were foreigners, and they all dressed formally to attend. In this regard, I especially appreciate the foreigners' attitude towards life. They will behave themselves in any situation and never make do with it casually.
This is a photo I specially took of the private room on the second floor. When I see the private room, I think of "La Traviata". The woman who likes to listen to operas. The woman who holds the white camellia on the 25th day and the black camellia on the 5th day often sits there. What will the private rooms on the second floor look like? (Although the location is in France, please allow me to have some random thoughts!)
Nobility in Europe is hereditary, and it is too difficult for grassroots to get a place. Even today in the 21st century, it is said that many rooms in the Golden Hall are only open to nobles, haha~~~

Schönbrunn Palace:Built in Baroque style in 1713, it was the summer residence of the Habsburg Dynasty. I know that its fame comes from the fact that there was a beautiful "Princess Sissi" here - the Queen of Hungary, the Queen of Austria. The version of Princess Sissi we see in the movie is beautified, but the real situation is very tragic. She used the most romantic and sad love story of the European royal family to authenticate the fall of the Habsburg family with a history of thousands of years.
The love story of Princess Sissi: Although she and Franz Joseph were married in free love, Sissi did not receive a strict palace education, so she was incompatible with the rigid palace. Although Sissi became Queen Elizabeth Glory and wealth, but depressed.
After marriage, Sissi always refused to play the traditional role of wife, mother, queen or even the image representative of a large empire. The history of the Hofburg Palace can be traced back to 1279. Almost every generation of emperors renovated or expanded their palaces. Therefore, the Hofburg Palace is a witness to various architectural styles in Europe. Whether it's Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, or late-century pseudo-classical style, the Hofburg Palace brings them all together. Today, the Hofburg Palace covers an area of 240,000 square meters, with 18 buildings, 54 exits, 19 courtyards and 2,900 rooms. It is known as a city within a city. .
The Hofburg was the residence of the Austro-Hungarian Emperor.
To this day, the Hofburg remains the seat of the President of the Federal Republic.

Heroesplatz is the outer square of the Hofburg Palace. It was built during the reign of Emperor Franz Joseph I and is part of the so-called "Imperial Square" that was not fully completed. There are no buildings to the north-west and it offers a good view of the inner ring road, the Houses of Parliament, the Town Hall, and the Burgtheater. There are two equestrian statues of military leaders in the square: Prince Eugen and Archduke Karl.
Maria Theresa Square
Maria Theresa Square is named after Queen Maria Theresa , wife of Holy Roman Emperor Francis I. This lady is known as "Mother-in-law of Europe" . She gave birth to 16 children in total, and most of her daughters married into various European royal families. The most famous youngest daughter Marie Antoinette was the wife of Louis XVI of France.
Maria Theresa Street (similar to our Xidan)
There are many cafes on both sides of this street. If you don't like shopping, you can choose to have afternoon tea here and watch the people coming and going. It is also a good choice.

Traveling on the Vienna subway is very convenient. All the attractions mentioned above can be reached by subway, so we collectively abandoned the car and chose environmentally friendly travel.
We bought a one-day pass, cost: 8 euros/person.

We stayed in a hotel only four stops away from Schönbrunn Palace. The location and environment of the hotel were good, but the breakfast was a bit disappointing. However, European breakfast is not very satisfying for Chinese people’s picky stomachs, hehehe~~

Foodie benefits
1. The most famous ice cream in Vienna is called TICHY. It is only open from April to September a year and is closed the rest of the time. If you have time, you can try it. Take U1 and get off at REUMANNPLATZ and go out in the direction of the bus.
2. Don’t miss the pastry AIDA here when you come to Vienna. The price is a little expensive, and the price is calculated as three times the price in China. There are many stores here, so just pay careful attention while shopping.
3. Simple meal: WIENER SCHNITZEL is one of the specialties of Vienna. It is basically made of pork and chicken. The meat should be beaten with a meat mallet, coated with eggs and bread crumbs, fried in a pan until golden, fished out, and served with Serve it with French fries or salad, pour a quarter of lemon juice on it, and dip it in ketchup or mayonnaise. (I think the best thing about this restaurant is not the delicious food, but the excellent environment. Think about it next to the Danube River, drinking red wine, eating delicious grilled ribs, and listening to lyrical music. Isn’t it beautiful? They all feel beautiful)
The most famous place for grilled elbow is inside the amusement park PRATERSTERN. Take U2 and get off at MESSE PRATER. You can find it in three minutes from the station. The business is surprisingly booming. You can enjoy the coolness of the open air in the huge yard, and you can drink as much as you want inside. A portion of roasted elbow is usually enough for three people. The fat and crispy skin will make you linger for a long time after taking one bite, and then take another rich drink. The local beer will instantly make you feel happy. The average consumption per person is 30 euros/person.
5. KTV. After listening to the symphony concert, everyone felt that they did not enjoy it to the fullest. In the evening, the group decided to sing and enjoy it by themselves, hahaha! ! ! Of course, you don’t have to worry about not having the songs you know. What you can sing in China and continue to perform abroad is that the sound system is not that interesting. But think about it, if you can sing a song in Europe and be next to the Golden Hall, other things are not so important! Per capita consumption is similar to Windsor, China, with foreign wine costing 100 euros per bottle.
