Today we entered Honghe Hani Autonomous Prefecture and passed through Hani Avenue.

Come to the famous Mojiang Tropic of Cancer Marker Park, which is known as the place where the sun turns.

The entire park is centered on the Tropic of Cancer, that is, 23°26′ north latitude.

Standing on the Tropic of Cancer, you can straddle two zones, the temperate zone on the left and the tropical zone on the right.

Legend has it that in order to conquer the sun, Kuafu chased the sun to Mojiang and died here of exhaustion. His body turned into land and rivers. The unknowing sun could only dare to come to Mojiang before turning back south. From then on, Mojiang was called the sun. A place to turn around.

The Five Elements Pillar, the Hani people use the five elements of metal, wood, water, fire, and earth to divide the time of the year.

Stone rings, the ancients estimated the 24 solar terms in a year based on the projections of the sun and moon when they rose and set.

At noon every summer solstice, the sun shines down from the top of the tower and coincides with the circle on the ground.
