Introduction to the joint tomb of Chen Tianhua and Yao Hongye: Located at the left rear of Lushan Temple, the tombs are divided into separate tombs. Each tomb is built with a granite sarcophagus, which is placed inside the tomb and is surrounded by stone masonry. . Chen Tianhua (1875--1905), a native of Xinhua, Hunan, was a famous revolutionary propagandist before the Revolution of 1911. He wrote two popular pamphlets, "Meng Huitou" and "Warning Bell", to advocate the revolution. Yao Hongye (1883--1906) was born in Yiyang, Hunan. Both of them were martyrs who were worried about national affairs and sentimental about the current ills.
