This building was so magnificent that it is said that on the day of completion, its roof suddenly caught fire. Some people think it's because it was built like a royal palace, which is a taboo. The Qiu family interpreted it as a message from heaven and gradually rebuilt it to make it less grand. The ancestral hall once organized the Qiu clan into a settlement of its own, which has far-reaching significance. The interior of the building is so beautiful that it was selected as a UNESCO cultural heritage site.
