Introduction to the Yueyang Tower Scenic Area: The Yueyang Tower Scenic Area is located at the head of the West Gate City and close to the Dongting Lake. It takes the historical ancient building "Yueyang Tower" as the core and extends in sequence. Since the establishment of a special management agency in 1958, it has gone through many years of vicissitudes. In January 1988, it was designated as a national key cultural relic protection unit by the State Council, and in August of the same year, it was listed as a national key scenic spot protection zone.
