Introduction to the Great Buddha Grotto: The Great Buddha Grotto is located in the southern section of Dayun Ancient Cave. It is the oldest grotto in Qianfo Cliff. The statue of Bodhisattva in the cave has its head tied in a bun, with its cloak and streamers knotted in a cross on the chest. It reflects the characteristics of clothing buried in the Southern and Northern Dynasties. The eight parts of Tianlong behind the cave have a special image and are representative works of sculptures from the Tang Dynasty.
