Introduction to the Ancient Fort Area: The East Fort is part of the Wusong Fort. Built in the fifty-seventh year of Kangxi (1718), the platform is sixteen feet long and one foot and five feet high. It is oval in shape and built with bricks. The fort's architectural style combines Chinese and Western styles, with rigorous structure and majestic momentum. It is one of the most complete coastal defense facilities in my country and is also a modern patriotism and national defense education base in Yantai. Visitors also have the opportunity to personally operate the restored "Krupp" cannon and watch the large-scale "Qing artillery drill".
