Loulan Ancient City Ruins Travel Guide

Ruoqiang County
Nestled in the vast expanse of the Tarim River and Kongque River alluvial plain, the ancient city of Loulan has long been a strategic crossroads, where the Silk Road converged, connecting China to the West. The tranquil waters of these rivers once nourished the city, but now, the relentless passage of time has left behind only the haunting remnants of a once-thriving metropolis. Today, the ruins stand as a testament to the city's storied past, a poignant reminder of the transience of human endeavor.
