Nanjing Jinniu Lake Scenic Area is known as the "No. 1 Scenic Spot in the North of the Yangtze River". It is the largest artificial lake in Nanjing and a pure land with beautiful environment and good ecosystem. The lakeshore in the scenic spot is winding, surrounded by green mountains along the lake, and there are rows of egrets on the lake. It is one of the first choice places for citizens to vacation in the suburbs and for tourists to view the original natural scenery.Attractions distribution:
The scenic area is divided into central service area, Yinniu Mountain Scenic Area, Jinniu Mountain Scenic Area, beach leisure area, wetland eco-tourism area, Tongniu Mountain Scenic Area, Lake Island Tourist Area, Water Park Area and Lakeside Leisure Resort Area. There are Xike Spring, stone bed, bird garden, egret forest, biological museum, carp climbing mountain, starling cage, golden turtle exploring the sea, kissing stone, fairy cave, herding pavilion, macaque garden, tea garden, Jinguang Temple, incense burner and monument. and other major landscapes. In particular, the strange rocks of Jinniu Mountain are quite ornamental; and vegetation such as pine and metasequoia also create a good natural environment. How to get there:
Bus route: Take bus No. 630 in the city and get off at Houwang, then transfer to a local bus or take a taxi; you can also take the tourist bus at Liuhe Fenghuangshan Park Station, the departure time is 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. , 2pm-4pm, every hour.
Self-driving route: Starting from Nanjing, enter the Ningluo Expressway via Xuanwu Avenue, turn towards the Yangzhou/Nantong/G40 direction to the Shanghai-Shaanxi Expressway, then turn into the Ningxia Expressway towards the Huai'an/Lianyungang/G205 direction , you can reach it via X304 → S247 after leaving the Liuhe/Chengqiao/Zhuzhen exit.

Jinniu Lake ticket price:
40 yuan/person; active military personnel, retired veteran cadres, and children under 1.2 meters are free of charge; children over 1.2 meters tall, student ID cards, senior citizen ID cards, disabled persons ID cards, and retirement ID cards can enjoy a half-ticket discount.
The sightseeing bus costs 10 yuan/person for one way and 20 yuan/person for round trip.
