Guangzhou Nansha Coastal Wetland is one of the important migration routes for migratory birds. It is also a coastal estuary wetland with relatively complete preservation, strong protection and good ecology in the Pearl River Delta region. The good natural ecological environment here plays an important role in preventing wind and waves, conserving water and soil, and regulating climate for the surrounding areas. It is known as the "Kidney of Guangzhou". Nansha Coastal Wetland is located on the west bank of the Pearl River estuary at the southernmost tip of Guangzhou, between Shiba Yong and Jiu Yong in Wanqingsha Town, with a total area of about 10,000 acres. The wetland is divided into two areas for construction. The eastern area covers an area of about 3,400 acres. It is a core area for ecological protection and is mainly used to carry out ecosystem scientific research and popular science education. The western area covers an area of about 6,000 acres and is a comprehensive development eco-tourism area. Tourists can take a tour boat to see water attractions such as mangroves, reed marshes, lotus ponds, bird's nests and bird feeding areas, and enjoy scenic spots such as the Banyan Greenway, Sea View Corridor, and Wilderness Walking Area by sightseeing car, bicycle or walking. Bus route:
1. Guangzhou → Jiaomen Metro Station on Metro Line 4 → Transfer to Nansha No. 2 (bus) → Xinken Station (or Baiwan Kuiyuan Station) → Transfer to Nansha No. 11 (public Car) → Nansha Wetland Tourist Area
2. Guangzhou → Jiaomen Subway Station on Metro Line 4 → Transfer to Nansha No. 23 (Holiday Tourist Line) → Nansha Wetland Tourist Area
Self-driving route:
1. Guangzhou (Shinkansen) to Nansha Wetland Tourist Area: South China Express (5 minutes) → Nansha Port Express (direction to Nansha Port) → Shiliucong Steel Base (exit) → Nansha Wetland Tourist Area (18yong)
2. Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway → Humen Bridge → Zhongshan Direction → Hengli Interchange to Nansha Port Express → Wanqingsha/Nansha Port Area Direction → Shiliuyong Steel Base (Exit) → Wetland Tourist Area (18yong)
3. From Zhongshan and Zhuhai to the Wetland Tourist Area: Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway → Triangle Town (exit) → Nansha Port Expressway (direction to Nansha Port) → Shiliuyong Steel Base (exit) → Nansha Wetland Tourist Area (18yong)
4. From Foshan, Nanhai, Jiangmen, Zhaoqing, Sanshui, Taishan, Kaiping, Yangjiang, Maoming to Wetland Tourist Area: Guangfo Expressway → South China Main Line → Nansha Port Express (Towards Nansha Port) → Shiliuyong Iron and Steel Base (Exit) → Nansha Wetland Tourist Area (No. 18chong)

Nansha Wetland ticket price:
Tickets: 50 yuan
Bicycle rental: 10 yuan/hour for a single person, 20 yuan/hour for a couple
Cruise ticket: 150 yuan/person for ordinary adults, children, students, 1.2-1.5 meters, 60 - 75 yuan/person for seniors over 64 years old, 50 yuan/person for seniors over 65 years old, 100 yuan/person for active military personnel and persons with disabilities

There are bicycles available for rent in the park for tourists to quickly reach the viewing area. You can also take a boat or walk to see it. It is recommended to take a boat. Since bicycles can only go around the edge of the park, only taking a boat can better appreciate the scenery of the three major areas.
