Shennongjia Xiangxiyuan Scenic Area is the birthplace of Xiangxiyuan, a tributary of the Yangtze River. The scenic area has primitive ecology and beautiful mountains and rivers. It is said that Wang Zhaojun was born in a small village at the source of Xiangxi.

Shennongjia Xiangxiyuan Scenic Area is located 2 kilometers west of Muyu Town, Hubei Province. The Xiangxiyuan watershed covers an area of ​​3,099 square kilometers. Among them, there are beautiful peaks, foggy clouds, clear springs, spectacular waterfalls, towering ancient trees, brilliant mountain flowers, and ravines. Remains of ancient glaciers, Lu Yu, the tea sage of the Tang Dynasty, called the source of Xiangxi "the fourteenth spring in the world".
It is said that Zhaojun dropped a string of pearls into the water when he was washing his face in the stream. Since then, the stream has been fragrant all year round. The real reason for the fragrance of the Xiangxi source is probably the abundance of wild flowers in the forest at the source. Every March, when the peach blossoms bloom along the Xiangxi River, you can see a light red fish called peach blossom fish in the Xiangxi water. Legend has it that Wang Zhaojun returned to his hometown to visit relatives before leaving the fortress. The peach blossoms were blooming on both sides of the Xiangxi River. Before leaving, Zhaojun played the pipa and bid farewell to his relatives with tears. The peach blossoms also fell into the water and turned into peach blossom fish with the sound of the piano.
